So all in all... this was a great move for me as I received many an email and msgs off FB to come and join their market and shows next month X4. actually it was X7 but i can only be in one place at a time... Above is a list and when their fb Ad comes out, I will let you know.
I also have diamond art kits also and penny rugs. below are some of what I shall bring.. dont think this is all, I have loads I make since Christmas season is over.. plenty of stock... will have 5 tables full usually. COME FIND ME!
Below and not in order are things I make to take to shows:
August2023
PENNY RUGS: the History of
Back in the very end of the civil war, Soldiers returned home. Both the Yankees and the Rebels. My grandmother's family home in Savannah, Georgia stood against time until recently. It survived the yankees during the Civl War and used as Yankee headquarters and returned when they said the war was over and given back to the family It belonged to my maternal Grandmother's family and given to her if she married the Yankee up in Pennsylvania. She did and spent many months of the year at the Plantation Mansion. As a child, I was turned over to my grandmother as my spoiled mother felt she wasn't able to be a mother at my birth. I traveled with my Grandmother to and from Georgia and Pennsylvania on the passenger train until almost 12 years old. Actually it became my home. We had a maid who explained to me about how the Penny Rugs existed.
When the soldier started to return to their homes there was a burning candle in the window on top of a hamdstitched Penny Rug made from a template of a large penny and their wool uniforms, faded blue and off gray. It was a candle coaster so it didnt burn through to a sideboard or a cabinet that was near a window. When the soldier seen the burning candle it mean there was help in this home, be it medical, burial or just food... it was given.
Out in the back forty, there were hundreds of graves with a simple stick cross, no name. hundreds of graves. Some had two or three crosses on them. The slave quarters at this time were still standing but dangerous and I wasnt allowed to play in them. The house had been redone but not well until the year 2015, it collapsed to the ground. Up until then it was on display as an original home. I no longer have the picture of the old home but i have a similiar of what i remember below. And the Penny Rugs I adapted and made to show all. They change as I sell them.
I have so many more... but want to surprize peoplearound Christmas.
These are MLM's and I have Diamond Art Kits, only some are shown, I have over 500 of them., the whole kit is available and I can teach you how in any show i bring these to.

Veneta Or> 4th Year... on the street
Sept 9th 2023
Well I didnt quite get near the park... I was down the street near all the Doggie stands... Thats okay, I still love it... I will always love this place... The people, the vendors, the proprietors, the area. Made some new friends, met a few old ones there.. made some money and enjoyed myself.
Winchester August 19th, FishMe Derby. outside in my popup... look for me... I will be set up on the docks near the blue box and Bedrocks.
All in All ... The customers and vendors were all No #1 people, Love you all for doing what we could.... BUT we could have had better weather. It was so windy like well over 50 MPH. It blew everything off our tables and at times the table itself you were chasing... Everyone pitched in and helped everyone else. I think mine was the worse as I had thousands of piece on display sort of.. after i picked it up off the ground, reset it up and waited for the next blow. whew... Today my whole face is slightly lobster red, since there was no sun, no warmth (and I really thank the man, Wayne who was selling sweatshirts, almost froze to death) just massive amounts of hurricane strength winds. Bless your hearts down in Winchester Bay, Oregon for having us. It was a great turn-out of patrons, customers.
July 29th - Florence Oregon, 1st Baptist Church. Hwy 101, across from Fred Meyer's, Big church on the hill.....
Truly from the heart, I love this one... just wished i had a larger space... next time I will and that next time is December 3rd 2023. Christmas show. The proprietors were wonderful and also vendors, the other vendors were all friendly. The set up although at first i was leary, turned out real good.
WALTERVILLE, SPRINGFIELD, OREGON - July 15th, Saturday
Im sorry Walterville, the vendors and the propietor were so wonderful...it was the customer absent that did me in.... and the hottest day of the year. Other than that I might go back cause i really liked it there... but i understand untill she gets a better place to sell... she was shutting it down in her front pasture... Sure was fun to watch all the farm animals coming and going though. Enjoyed myself and its not always about selling the most or the money involved.
Okay I set one up in Mid- June.... June 17th 10 to 5PM and the 18th 10 to 2 PM, Waldport... for Beachcomber Days. Find me...
(Report: This was a 2 day, and it was a BLAST. Yes I will gladly do this one again. The only disappointment was the fact that 75% of the vendors did not come back on Sunday. I dont know if their expectations were too high and they didnt sell enough or what. But I was happy, met a lot of different and new customers. and hope they return or find me out there somewhere. The staff was really nice and helpful)
Florence Senior Events Center, Florence OR May 27th, 8 to 4PM ( small town fun, I went to this one 3 years now, signed up again after being asked, selling anything goes...) they have a great and cute ad on FB, But i cant seem to move it over to here. so look up on FB and type in search, Jewels and Junk, Florence, OR
This one is always good... It was my third year there and I had a blast pretending to be the Walmart Greeter since I was one of two outside. We met alot of locals and brought in some tourists. Laughing with the people, enjoying the outside and being friendly.
Springfield OR -May 13th (Cheery and bright, at 2095 Yolanda Ave. Springfield, OR, at the Next step Dance Studio)
This was a mild disappointment for sales. Not much advertisement except to the people who came to watch their children dance and it was off a main road way off on a back street, if you didnt know it was there... you wouldnt have come there on your own.
My rating is a minus -1.
Junction City, OR May 6th. (Flea/Farmers Market - Junction City Beer Station on Holly St)
Myself, I loved this place. The people, the customers and the vendors. There is plenty of spaces available and great pricing of $20.00 for a pop up spot. The only problem, it was pouring down rain... but still people came. I guess the food here is outstanding! and I agree from the food vendor wagons. The venders themselves were so pleasant and all offered to help. The customers were really nice to us vendors too. I sold not alot because im putting it down to the weather. But Im going back, its every Saturday and I cant come EVERY Saturday but i would love to come when i can.
(My Rating 4+)Im sure this will get better.
This event below is completely over for me. Not returning.
Winchester Bay below.
This is over for me. I will not return. sorry.

Before 2023 below
Showing people my tiny penny rugs. and my other penny rugs on hand. BUT FIRST I need to tell everyone the story:
I lived at my grandmothers for the most part of my young life. She had two residences, one in Pennsylvania and one in Savannah Georgia. She was allow to keep the family residence if she married the yankee from Pa. 6 months of the year, she traveled by train with a maid (yes she was very wealthy and so was the grandfather) and she lived in this humongous 3 story mansion. Since my Mother was not ready for a child, she gave me to her mother at birth and I lived there till i was 11.5 years old, traveling with her. One day and I think i was 6 or 7, I was helping the maid, dust and commented on the ugly thing covering the sideboard to my grandmother, telling her there were so many more pretty doillies in a hall closet. She had the maid tell me the story. It appears to be called a "Penny Rug", a mat for dripping candles and it was left over from the very end of the Civil War. A burning candle was place on top to guide returning soldiers to receive help, be it medical, food or burial. There were circles of alternating blue and gray on a flat mat. I further ventured to the back yard, past the garden and out to where the slave quarters used to be and found this makeshift graveyard. I counted over 200 graves seen with primitive crosses or two pieces of sticks. I knew this is where soldiers wereburied, with no name, no identification. Their families never knew what happened to them.
I knew I was going to make Penny Rugs, but change them to a more modern and pretty version. but I still tell the story above. I will add pictures as I go and more stories that I can remember. Just know I learned how to embroider and do a bullion stitch and crochet and knit and macrame` by hook or crook and my Great Grandmother from Sweden and that mostly I had to learn on my own as Im left handed and hard to teach or so I was told.
I also make wire wrapped healing stones into necklaces and jewelry. These are all Oregon Based Stone and my Husband and I go out and collect them, he does the cleaning and the lapidary, I do the wore wrapping and selling in craft fairs and markets. If you find me in a market, necklaces go for $5.00 to $10.00Boxed. They all are marked and identified of their health origins. come find me for more..... It changes all the time.
December 2022
Im going to try something new. Im putting up the new product and Items I've created and made... here and give someone a first chance before the public sees the items in a Craft Faire. Bare with me.
Let's start with the earrings... Wire Wrapped rings and into the wrap I've put a charm and/or crystal arrangement. $10.00 a pair and free shipping.

November 10th and 11- *2 Day Show*
989 Country Club Road, Eugene
Grace Community Fellowship
Im there now, last day. So different.... the vendors are super nice place to be in.
Powers, Oregon.
Posted July 3rd: This show is always so good. I made loads of new friends,,, almost ran out of merchandise but lasted the two days I came to stay. I want to thank the two people across the way from us who loaned us 2 of their display cots so we didnt have to sleep in the cars or on the ground... BUT who could sleep? There was so much going on out there, if we weren't so tired we would have have joined them. Fireworks everywhere and where did all these people come from? It was a scorcher of a day... but as we looked over the crowd, they also had the sweat running from their brows into their face with dirt streaks... Wonderful activity... I can only hope we are invited to come again next year. So much fun and made money too.
June 30th and July 1st ... two days is about all can handle and we are spending the night in a campground nearby. If you need something to do, this is IT! Last year I had so much fun just being a vendor.... Its a bit out of the way and in Coos County, but worth the drive to get there... See you there
